Jo is a creative event and project management professional working in business to business and arts related subjects.
Following studying for an English degree in London and completing a postgraduate journalism and media qualification at City University, Jo was rapidly promoted when employed in the commercial publishing & exhibition organising industry becoming a senior manager at what was then Miller Freeman Inc. In 1995 Jo continued successfully with her own company, Timeworks, that has traded profitably for over fifteen years. International Corporate Clients with whom Timeworks have worked with during this time include Xerox Europe, Silicon Graphics, Reuters, Misys, and Aggreko.
Jo's interests are in art history and psychology. She has studied Art History at Birkbeck College in London, Arts Management at Sussex University and is also a qualified psychotherapist (MBACP).
She volunteers her services to a number of charities including Samaritans, Cruse Bereavement Care and Hastings & Rother Counselling Service.
Daniel Nissel
Events Director
Daniel comes from a background in theatre. He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in stage management and technical theatre. He worked for many years at the Bristol Old Vic and for other repertory and operatic companies before discovering the world of corporate events. He brings a wealth of experience as a leading producer and production manager. His full understanding of the latest software and technology ensures the smooth running of even the most complex events. Daniel has worked globally including countries such as Korea, Bahrain and Dubai. He enjoys working with presenters to ensure their presentations are entertaining and memorable. Daniel's broad skill set ensures the correct audiovisual support for any event runs seamlessly. Daniel thrives on working with people to create happy and industrious teams. Daniel's approach means presenters will always feel well looked after and relaxed ensuring they can give their best performance. His ethos is to understand what people want and then exceed their expectations.
